Systembaker allows turning on user-defined functions regularly or at a time precisely defined by the user.
Examples of timer use:
The system regularly (e.g., daily) checks incoming payments on a bank account.
At the moment of a newly created user account, it automatically sends an email with introductory information to the user, and after a week, the system sends an email asking if everything is okay and if the user is missing any further information.
The system checks every day whether the deadline for task completion is approaching, and if there are only 24 hours left until the task is due, it automatically sends an email alert to the user to whom the task is assigned.
If the task is not completed within the specified deadline, the system automatically changes the task status (e.g., "not completed" or "past due") and sends an alert to the project manager, and so on.
